Hashtag-Poundsign.  What the heck does that mean?

In our laughing brains, this pervasive piece of punctuation has become a symbol of changing times — but we hope not a generational divide.

 #Poundsign is a mother-daughter look at growing up.  A chance to talk, explore and laugh.  When Nancy entered her teen years she thought the family’s new push button phone was improved from rotary, but what was that poundsign for anyway? E “thinks” mom may be a tad out of the loop and most certainly recognizes a “#” hashtag when she sees one.  We know too well that # isn’t the only thing we’ll see from different points of view in the growing years ahead.
